Jennifer L. Lollis, CPA
Tax Guru and Founder
Hi! I'm Jennifer (Jenn), and I started Jekale in 2014 after leaving a 10-year career with a mid-sized Atlanta-based CPA firm. I loved my clients, and I wanted to work with my clients in a way that most traditional firms didn't support. As a result, Jekale services each client according to its own unique situation. No two clients are the same and should not be treated as such. I believe that developing a unique plan for each client achieves the best service and advice for each client. I work with each of my clients to ensure they understand complex issues and the "why" behind the advice, as well as all aspects of each action taken; I believe it is one of the most important parts of being a tax advisor.
I have worked more than 18 years with closely-held companies doing business within the United States and abroad. I truly enjoy helping my clients and I genuinely care about them all as people.
I was born in Albany, Georgia, a town in the southwest corner of Georgia. My dad's job moved us to Toronto, Ontario, Canada when I was 11 years old. This not only opened my eyes to a completely different world and changed the course of my life, it also gave me a particular interest in international business. We moved back to Albany when I was 16, and I went to Athens, GA to attend the University of Georgia (go Dawgs!) once I graduated high school. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's of Business Administration, Accounting and a Master's of Accountancy, Taxation in 2004. After living and working in Atlanta, Georgia for 14 years, I finally made the move to Denver, Colorado, where I had been wanting to re-locate for years. When I'm not working, I'm traveling somewhere, hiking up a mountain, snowboarding down a mountain, going to a concert, or spending time with my loved ones.
Jennifer is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Colorado and Georgia
